FULL PACKING SERVICE
Full packing service are the most convenient option if you have a short amount of time to pack your entire house and as we all know packing and unpacking can be tiresome and stressful tasks. We can take away this hassle from you. If your move is stressful enough already, then you can delegate this chore to us and we'll gladly help. If you have any specific instructions, just let us know and consider it done.
Your move consultant will determine your cost based on the amount of stuff you have in your home.
PRESTIGE HOUSE REMOVALS LTD uses only high-quality and eco-friendly cardboard boxes of different sizes and a wide range of other packaging materials. Whether it's bubble wrap, clear film wrap, or moving wrapping paper and vinyl tape, we've got it covered.
The professional packers will arrive the day before your appointment fully prepared to begin the packing process. They will assemble the boxes and start wrapping every item with the utmost care. Each filled-up box will be sealed with vinyl tape and labelled appropriately. All fragile items will be packed carefully in subtaible boxes or crates and protected with bubble wrap. Packers and movers will cover soft furniture and mattresses with plastic sheets. And rest assured that all your movable property will be fully insured from start to finish!
It is possible that your actual packing charges may be lower than those originally quoted on your estimate if you decide to pack your items yourself, but you should speak with your move consultant at least 5-10 days before your move to confirm.
PARTIAL PACKING SERVICE
The partial packing service is an ideal option if you are looking to save some money on moving costs, or if you are confident that you will be able to carefully package and move the items in your home well enough to make it to your destination.
With our partial packing service, you have the flexibility to choose which items you want us to pack. Whether you need assistance with fragile and valuable items, such as glassware, artwork, or electronics, or you simply want help packing a specific room or area of your home, our professional packers are here to assist you.
Your move consultant will set a price for partial packing based on what you need wrapped, plus the items you want packed by the moving company.
Here are some self-packing tips:

Whether you choose to move with new or used boxes, make sure that you invest in the proper moving boxes. You can ask your move consultant what type of moving boxes to use and where to find them.

Make sure each box is completely closed and secure the top with strong packing tape

Use color coded labels.
It is possible that your actual packing services cost could differ from the estimate you originally received if you pack more or less than you originally planned.
If this is the case, you will need to contact your move consultant 5-10 days prior to the move to make these changes.
UNPACKING SERVICE
If you would like us to help you unpack, we can tailor an unpacking service to your requirements - for example you may just want us to unpack your kitchen boxes, or certain rooms, or you may want us to unpack everything.
The unpacking process involves laying all contents on flat surfaces, removing all packaging materials and empty boxes, so they can be inspected and placed in your desired cupboard or shelf.
Additionally, we can provide a maid service, which involves putting everything into your desired location (under your direction).
We will only be able to provide you with this service if you choose either partial or full packing service.

NO PACKING SERVICE
If you have the time and want to save some money then you might consider doing your own packing.
You will need to place all small items and large items into suitable boxes (of reasonable weight and well sealed) ready to be moved by our crew along with your larger items of furniture.
Here are some important tips to follow:

It is mandatory to seal all boxes tightly.

The maximum weight per box should not exceed 15kg.

It is necessary to empty all shelves and drawers.

The refrigerator freezer and chest freezer must be disconnected and defrosted.

The washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher must all be disconnected and drained.
The move consultant will recommend what kind of moving boxes to use and what furniture must be dismantled before moving day.

Which Items Are Covered by Valuation With Packing Service?
Whether you purchase partial or full packing service, only the items packed by the moving company are covered under the moving company’s default valuation policy.
Owner packed cartons containing high-value items must be left open for our drivers to inspect and seal.
If you have packed these items on your own, the moving company will not be responsible for any damages or loss, unless a damaged box has been noted upon delivery.
For clarification, please speak with your move consultant.
Can I Change My Mind About the Packing Services After My Estimate?
You can change your mind about the packing service you originally requested. Please inform your moving consultant at least 5-10 days before your move if you decide to pack items yourself instead of hiring our full packing service.
That way, we can be sure the crew has the correct amount of packing supplies required. If you chose to pack yourself and aren't completely packed several days prior to loading, please contact your move coordinator right away so we can schedule a pack team to assist.

Can I use my own packing materials, boxes and clothes for padding my stuff?
Well, this is up to you but you should consider doing the packing as well. We execute our packing services with packaging materials that are sourced from popular suppliers and come with a quality guarantee. Also, we cannot be held responsible for damaged items during transportation if old boxes and improvised materials have been used to pack your load.
How long before moving day would the packing service take place?
This will depend on the size of your property. We prefer to have enough time to react to unanticipated events during the preparation stage of your relocation. With small moves, however, the packing can be easily done on the same day as the loading.
